My current Campaign that I'm DMing.
When a small group of sellswords are paid to kidnap a princess of a kingdom, a turn of the unexpected happens... The princess wants to come with... along with her guard/trusted advisor, Celerow.

Celerow is a avoral celestial / drow who has fallen out of the elemental plane of air. He looks exactly like a dorw except for the fact that he has wings. His mother was the celestial known as Efri the avoral celestial. His father is the dark elf known as Drizzt Do'Urden. Landing in the realm of, Oarcres, he could no longer enter the elemental plane of air to see his mother and can't travel willingly back to the Underdark below the world of the Forgotten Realms setting. He wants the Druid Princess to have a high enough power to travel to the elemental plane of air and take him with her to find his true identity.... The Campaign launches off on January 27, 2001.

Part 1: The Castle
The sellswords, Targeth, Orion, and Taleth head to the castle to kidnap the princess of Telt, Tera. There, they encounter Celerow, her trusted guardian / advisor. Getting trapped by entanglement spells and be beatten by earth elementals, the revieled their true reason for what they are doing. Thinking of this as a way of adventure, Celerow and Tera tag along, heading towards a dock in a town north of the capital of Telt to meet the man who hired the sellswords to kidnap her.
After about 1 days travel, they reach the town. At sundown, they met the strange man who had hired them, in dark alley way near some docks. He gave them the gp he promised, and then went srtaight for the Mysterious Pendant around Tera's neck. Celerow fought back for several seconds until the evil guy used a dimension door, leaving behind the pendant.
Knowing that they stirred up to much noise and had bounties on them, they hijacked a sailing ship. Their plans were to head to Dominius to get some real monster action.
Part 2: Onward to Dominius
After several days at sea, the party heard a low, moaning noise beneath their boat. They were currently in the Etrelce Ocean. Huge waves began to form. Everyone grabbed onto something knowing that if they didn't, they would be easily tossed overboard. Suddenly a huge beast emerged from the water. It was the largest whale any of them had ever seen. It seemed to take hours for it to pass the boat. Ending with a huge splash of it's tail, the party were moved all the way to south east Dominius, where they were ship wrecked.
Once on land, they took the three cannons, two kegs of gun powder, and seven cannon balls to a large hill. The load was to heavy to carry, so they tamed wild horses from a stampede.
After a few hours walk through a forest to the north, they all fell into a dug pit, rendering all of them unconsious. They later woke up in a mite cavern.
They escaped the cavern simply, retrieving their items as they did, blew it up using some of the gun powder, and put out the forest fire with a create water spell.
When they finally reached the base of a mountain, Celerow decides to head for the nearest town by flying there and taking the princess as well.

Part 3: Celerow's Passion
Celerow has always had a deep passion for horses, but his favorite of the horse family is the nightmare.
In the town Celerow learns about nightmare existing in the Crater of Cale. Pushed to learn of their nature, he goes out to find one and tame it.
In the mean time everyone else found a cavern, in the mountain and decided to make into a hideout. Problem being that they weren't the only ones who used it for a hideout. The party was attacked by several Shadows. Targeth, the minotaur, was the only one who could fight resonably. Using a magic dagger, he took all of them on at once. After several turns, he had killed them all.

After several days search, Celerow came across a cleric temple. It had been invaded by kobolds who were just raiding it. He quickly extinguished them and found where all the clerics went. They all were in a secret underground cavern. He told them it was safe and began reading up on nightmares. He learned that there is a supposed legendary nightmare used as a mount for great undead lord.
After learning all he could, he went out to search for the nightmares. After several days search came across two of them fighting. One was just an ordinary one, the other, the legend. The legendary nightmare was completely red, and deeply wounded. Celerow helped kill the other nightmare and heal the legend. He tamed it to become his new mount...

Part 4: Tears of Foth
Wanting to go fight a mini-war in Teil, the heroes went east to get there and be recruited. The they took a rest at a foggy forest, known as Grep. Pushed to explore the creepy forest, they stumbled apon a ruined city. It was the capital of the evil kingdom Foth.
Foth, which is now known as Telt, was protected by an evil dragon guardian. It was killed and taken over by Hofper, dragon Guardian of Telt.
Inside the ruined city were alot of empty houses and a keep.
Once in the keep, they entered a throne room. Above the throne was a circlet hanging from a nail. They took the circlet only to find that it belonged to a skeleton warrior. Deafeating that with ease, they headed into a treasure room. All, but two gp and a couple of bastard swords were in there. Searching the room, they were ambushed by glorgens, killing them far too easily.
After that, the characters went into a bedroom, and burned the bed away to find a secret trap door leading into a dungeon. Targeth killed a zombie in a jail cell simply by smashing the bars in far enough for it's rotting flesh to spatter across the masonry walls.
Celerow collected an intellegent sword of lawful good alignment, and gets +2 to all evil creatures.
2 days later, they got to Teil and faught a simple war on Ridev Is.
They easily won it.
Going back to Telt, a severly wounded mesenger showed up and said that Teil itself was under attack.
The Characters got back, only to see the beautiful castle burnt to a crisp. Near it stood the mysterious man who wanted the pendant. He suddenly began to transform into the great wyrm, dragon guardian, Seever.
He yelled out, "Find Secel!! Kill him and the king!!."
The Characters were noticed and a whole horde of orcs and black dragons began to chase them. They all started flying away on the nightmare, but Tera accidently fell off. Suddenly a huge Emerald great wyrm grabed her right before the orcs could grab her (refer to the cover of Dragon Magazine, issue #4 1999.) The black dragons followed, but were stopped by two of the emerald dragon followers (green dragons). They flew all the way to the lake in Telt.

Part 5: The Next to Fall
Once at the lake, Secel, the Dragon Guardian, shouthed, "Hofper! I need your help! Teil has fallen to Seever. Tell these heroes a quick briefing on what may happen if they don't help! I must go and protect my kingdom." Before the heroes could confront him to stay for he might die, Secel flew away east.
Hofper showed himself. He was a great wyrm Amythst dragon gurdian. He told them that the pendant was actualy the tool to get into the plane of magic. If Seever was there to get his hand on it, he would become more powerful than a god. He would have unlimited spells and would become immortal.
Deciding that they could spend some time at a local festival called The Hunt For Arsep, they used this as a break. In The Hunt For Arsep, the characters job is to catch leprechauns and get there gold. After hours of search, they finaly came across one. They caught it and easily found its gold by following its wife to a nearby tree trunk. It bargained to give them three limited wishes. The characters made their wishes and the leprechaun said, "Since you've been so kind, I shall give you a forth wish." With that, they made it and the leprechaun chuckled. Their last wishes had been reversed and they were teleported back to the lake. They went to go meet Hofper again but instead found a green dragon. He said, "Secel has been killed. I saw all of the black dragons heading north to Triven." With his last breath he said, "Don't let Seever become a god..."
Part 6:Triven's Power
Eventualy landing on Triven, they meet a guide of the land, Wrip and his follower, Milnith. The newly formed party follows some dragon footprints until it ends at a spot where it appears that it had flown away. They headed to a Fort, Home of the leader of Triven, Jackle. They encounter him and ask him of the location of Triven's Dragon Guardian. He says that he does not now the current position of the Guardian, but has a guess on were they could be. He tells them that on northern Island is where most of Triven's Dragon Guardian's followers hang. He gave the characters a sheet of paper telling them that they have permision to interact with the Dragon Guardian. He say that the easiest way to get there is throufh an underground ice cavern. Before he could finish explaining about it, the party ran off, hoping to catch a boat...
Part 7: The Interaction
After days travel, they party eventualy arrived at the enterance of a beautiful ice cavern. It didn't seem natural, though. It looked as if something had burrowed through it, designing this cave. They traveled inside for what seemed like hours. They kept noticing more burrow holes as they went along. Eventualy, they came across a huge dome room. Before the party could get an even better look at the room, Tangarth was snatched up in the mouth of a remorhaz. The characters had a pretty tough time knocking this one dead, but managed to do it. They camped and healed themselves inside. For another day or so, the party traveled in the, what seemed endless, cave. When they came across a room with sticks that had been placed as if some intellegent being had put them there. The Elf quitly said, "Yeti"...
The group traveled about another 70 feet until they found a trail of blood. They followed it until they found yeti limbs, toes, and eyes ripped up and thrown across the ground. Ahead of them stood a Dark Naga with a hand in its mouth. "Have you come to join the feast?" it asked, and cast a fireball. The team retaliated by calling shots on its tail, trying to get rid of its deadly stinger. The elf succeded with a whoping blow, making have to make a save for massive damage or death. It stayed allive, but barely, and before it could start another attack, Tangarth was already in the air with a deadly blow to its head (combat and tactics). The thing probably died of severe brain damage. The team set off to get to port afterwards.
Once at the port, the team found a dock with two vessels. A fishermans boat (LOADED with fish) and a sailing ship. Before they could board the sailing ship, a white dragon submerged from its hiding spot and dirrectly headed to the fish. Almost swallowing the small boat (No one but fish got hurt in this action) in one gulp. The party drew steel...
Part 8: War upon Triven
The white dragon glanced at them and said with a mouthfull of fish, "Don't worry, I saved some fish, so don't start fighting somethig you can't win."
"Do you happen to be one of Triven's Dragon Guardian followers?" Celerow asked.
"Indeed." Said the dragon.
Celerow asked it if it could show them the location of the Guardian. The dragon refused and continued eatind. After several minutes of controversy, the party FINALY , I repeat, FINALY remembered that they had the paper to see the Guardian. With that, the white dragon took them immedeatly took them to the dragon guardian of Triven.
The dragon guardian of Triven was Vensore, a sapphire dragon. He them that if Quent was to attack Triven, Triven would stand no chance unless they had rienforcements. He told them to go to Dominius and ask for immediate back up and dragons. He set the players off to tell Dominius...
